Custom Foam You Design

Your Pelican case has just arrived. You had your choice of pick and pluck or flat foam. You have been thinking about this and have decided to go with custom foam inserts. You have an idea of how you want to lay everything out in your case. Now you just have to have someone fashion your design into a custom foam insert.

Case Club will do this for you. Here are four options that are available for you to use. You can send your parts to them and let them do everything. They will return everything in its’ original shape. This may not be convenient for you though.

You can use a jpeg/gif/ drawing. Keep in mind that it must be done in a 2D form. A photograph can give them a look at what you want, but is not helpful for making the design past that. Make sure it is to scale. It does not have to be 1x1, but make sure it is proportionally correct to the layout. If your picture shows what you want, but is not to scale, they will help you for a small fee.

You can obtain some white crafting paper and trace the outline of your product and send it to them. Make sure you use a medium or fine point black marker. Case Club will be cutting on the lines you provide. If you need to use more than one piece of paper, tape them together on the back with clear tape.

If you know how to use AutoCAD to design your custom foam insert layout and send it to them. They will do the rest.
Whichever way you choose, your custom foam will be fit to your case and your product. Their customers like the fact that they take the time to do it right.

The custom foam inserts are fabricated in house. Fabricating the foam in house allows Case Club to charge less and finish the inserts in less time. It usually will be just a matter of days before you have your custom foam insert.
